Will croton be the one?

CRO (detail) drawing by Mark Kerstetter

Many thanks to Lynn Otto and Dave Mehler for publishing three of my poems in issue 19 of Triggerfish Critical Review. The poems are

CRO
Open Call
Frank Kaufman’s White Suit

The participants of TCR review each other’s work and here are links to the four poems I reviewed:

Zen Cancer Saloon by Renée K. Nicholson
Eucalyptus by Renée K. Nicholson
Itch by Spencer Smith
The Birds of Summer by Spencer Smith

You are truly a fine poet, and I am glad Triggerfish chose to share these poems of yours. CRO in particular grabbed me by the throat. Also, my copy of One Step arrived just a few days ago, about which I’d say, as you said of Nicholson,”all the details are right.” But more than that: you capture living through the experience in all its aspects, looking it straight in the eye, pain, hope, poison, all of it.
